Any ideas about the colour scheme history? I'm wondering when was the last year navy blue (the best ever colour scheme on a v-strom)   :thumb:  :thumb:  :thumb:  :thumb:  :thumb:  was discontinued and replaced by a trollopy red light districty lighter blue (uk yuk yuk) one  :-x  :-x  :-x  :-x  :-x

Hmm, have seen that, and it does say YC2 (candy blue was up to 2005 (K5)
My bike is registered 2007, but is a 2006 MY K6, but is paint code Yc2. all very confusing

This is what I found

It seems the decent blue colour was phased out after 2005. Nothing in 2006 and rubbish blue in 2007

Seeing as you have a 2002 bike, you have the silver frame too. Which is much more important.
