hagon shock

Hi. Hagon are looking a v strom 1000 2014 to prototype for a new shock. You'd need to be near them, east london Essex border I think and leave the bike 10 working days. You'd get the shock half price for your trouble , £150. They'll have the front progressive springs ready in a few months

Just around the corner from me, will contact them, although not sure how much of an improvement it would be.

For one up use probably not much but I ride two up all the time and I'm on max preload and it's still too soft, needs a heavier spring and only one I can see is a hyperpro and I'm no fan of theirs and don't like a progressive rear spring. Hagon put a quite a heavy spring in their shocks so for me it would be great and only 150 quid! Result

I've read of a few failures of their shocks on other forums, has anybody heard of this one ones fitted to the V-Stroms?

I've seen that too but my mate had one on his tiger800 for two years and no trouble, and it handled so much better than my tiger. You get a two year unlimited warranty too. Its down to cost at the end of the day.  A hagon with remote preload is 425 and a similar wilbers r hyperpro will be over 600 plus.

Try Nitron I have a rear on my Kawasaki Versys 1000 Mk1 transformed the handling with Hyperpro Fork Springs as well. Nitron are a British top product and I recommend them totally.

Am I the only one who thinks lending them your bike for 10 days and only getting a 50% discount on a shock is a bit of a cheek?

It should be free, surely?

Other suppliers have done it for us.

+1. I took my bike over to Martin at MTC and received a nice shiny end can for my trouble, fitted and free of charge. He even posted the OEM bread bin to my house, also free.
If you think you can, or you think you can't, either way; you're right.
