AK7 GT heated grips

Me again.
I think I have the factory fitted heated grips fitted to my wee...... but I can't get them to warm up. Was looking at the wiring diagram earlier and could someone confirm that power will only be supplied to the grips when the side stand is up ????

Hello Si,

I've got an 08 GT and think they should just come on with the ignition if the dial is on.
