well all you techno type girls and boys what do we reckon is the best battery for an 09 wee went out the weekend after charging on saturday night went to go out tonight in the nice sunshine flat as a pancake I suppose I have had my moneys worth out of it 5 years old not bad

I use the same battery that Locky linked above. Good manufacturer, good price :thumb:

That same company also sells on eBay, where I got mine from.

Yuasa , but be careful where it's from ..!! There are imitations out the from China ..  :crazy: . By far the best is oddessy batteries although they are expensive .

Motobatt extra cranking power 4terminals to run other stuff off,expensive but I think the best.

My Motobatt battery seems to have given up the ghost after only 9 months! It didn't seem to be getting a suitable charge off the bike, so I connected it up to an Oxford Optimiser 900. This seems to maintain the battery at about 12.7v, but when this is back on the bike, it's not even enough charge to turn it over.

I can jump it off something else, or bump start on a slope and it runs fine - it just won't start by it's self.

All seems very odd to me!

Motobat for me 4 terminals if you need them and extra cranking power.

Mikec, contact them, at that age it's probably still under warranty.
