I  have had BMWs for the last 10 years, my wife goes pilion to France and Spain and likes the V Strom more than the BMWs, we have not tried a GSA because I don't want something that big we did try the GS, F800 GT,and Triumph 800 and prefer the Suzuki.

I wouldn't have swapped the Veek for the GS for more room alone but the GSA pillon seat is 2 inches longer than the GS. After spending 6000 miles on the Veek in 4 months it just wasn't big enough for what WE needed. If the wife fooks off with the milkman I'd have another dl no bother

Wouldn't it have been cheaper to get more milk delivered? Enjoy the bike.

Fair comment Bobstar; that its just your personal experience about the room issue. I've sat on bikes that make me feel uncomfortable that they are too big (fat, tall, or heavy or wide etc): its a very subjective thing. Doesn't in itself mean that the bike is totally crap for touring on, for everybody. :thumb:

As you know from my other posts I am in process of decision to buy a Veek and this advice is very helpful. I have just put my wife's name on the Milkman Dating site!

Thanks Gassoon, I couldn't think of an amusing reply to Dino-man.

I didn't ever work as a milkman, though I may have acted like one in the past.  :)
