Need help to buy exhaust
« on: August 23, 2014, 19:31:33 »
Finally, the quad I had for sale got sold (Polaris 850). Now, with money in my pocket and my 2012 650 to trade in, I'll be getting new Vee2 sometime in January. Before I get it, I want to have some custom bits sitting in my house, waiting for new bike arrival.
One of them is exhaust. I looked arround eBay and found few interesting cans. So, I narrowed my search on two models, both GPR. One is "GPR Poppy" and the other one is "GPR Furore", both with removable dB killer. I've never owned GPR before so if someone had, please say few thing about them.
My doubt is if new Vee needs any ECU map work to get it right with new pipe. Ideal for me would be just to install new pipe and go ride. But I'm asking help from you blokes that already have new exhaust on your new Vee2.
Thanks !!!

This filter... :angry-tappingfoot:
I didn't write "customised bits", I meant "accessories". Let's see if this word stays on...

Got the MTC stainless on my new Veek, courtesy of Mr Rats post and Martin at MTC  :)  Runs great, sounds great and needed no re calibration of any kind. Very happy with it.
If you think you can, or you think you can't, either way; you're right.

I have a GPR on the Wee, it's a great exhaust, the design and quality is top class. It also, in my opinion, sounds the best on the Wee/Glee. It needed no changes to the ECU mapping and has given a bit more bottom end stomp. I'm so happy with it that, besides for Yoshimura exhausts, the GPR would be top of the list for consideration for an exhaust for any other bike I get.

Edit: I can't see an exhaust for the new Veek on the GPR site?
