I know this is an old thread but have just spoken to the Building Society that provides my free travel insurance and was really surprised. I don't pay for the account either. Travel by Motorcycle is covered (must wear a Helmet, accident free for 3 years and a full licence for 3 years) For a different trip they include Egypt in the 'Europe' Policy and cover the fact that I take blood pressure medication and have a torn cartilage in my knee for which I'm waiting for an operation at no extra cost! Forgot to check repatriation of the bike if I'm crocked but will do that before the trip in August though. I'm pretty pleased with this!

I am busy planning my own single trip insurance and have found this site

http://www.holidaysafe.co.uk/travel-ins ... cks.html#M

Option 1 from the link above covers motorbike trips and my quote is for a 7 days.

Does this look reasonable to you? I think the Standard Single Trip option covers what I need.

For the extra £3.20 you won't have to pay out £100 excess on just about everything you might make a claim on! Let's hope a claim's not required but I'd take out the premier plus............belts and braces!!
