Bars / sump guard combo
« on: August 27, 2013, 09:36:31 »
Hi - I quite fancy a crash bar / Alu sump guard combo.

Is the only option the genuine Suzuki items? Or can I fit the givi bars and genuine Suzuki guard? The guard needs a crossbar on the bars doesn't it.

Any ideas?
Bike is a 2010 "wee" btw.

Some parts don't mix together, some do with adaptors. Take swmotech bellypans. They fit to givi bars using an adaptor plate sold seperatly. You might also consider a plastic bellypan which won't protect as much as a metal one but doesn't need to connect to the bars. Check out powerbronze or pyramid belly pans for example.
I'm sane, honestly. . . I got a certificate to prove it!

SW Motech engine bars work with Suzuki bash plates, I have this combo. I believe SW Motech made the OEM bars for the old Wee anyway (and SW Motech bash plates obviously fits SW Motech engine bars.)

If your buying both take a look at Heed crashbars and plates

I have them on my Wee , the bars are great quality and the bashplates much the same as the Suzuki one ..

I have a 2010 wee with Suzuki engine bars

I then bought a sump guard/belly pan from America as it seemed to cover more bike than most makes...
