Pillion Observation
« on: August 27, 2013, 14:23:57 »
I have now given a lift to three different people in the past few weeks. One thing I notice, and this is my first experience of carrying pillions on the wee, is that the engine almost sounds like it has an exhaust leak when under pressure. Does anyone else get this, or is it normal for a wee when going two up?

Depends if you're labouring the engine by accelerating in too high a gear, this can cause a change in exhaust note as the motor struggles.

Are you sure its not the sound of gulping air through the Air Filter box when you are giving it a handful ?

They can make a bit of a strange noise now and again.
