You will need a torque wrench when you tighten it after.
.
Do you supersize your burgers and let men at the side of the road wash your windscreen when they suggest it too?
There is no real need to torque the axle, it's clamped after you stop turning. The torque setting is there is stop the stealers using a ten foot bar or leaving it halt undone, keep Halfrauds in business and discourage you from not using Suzuki brand air in the tyres. Just turn until the thread bottoms and do up the clamping bolts as tight as the supplied (shortish) open end will allow.
The OEM tool kit seems fine to me, I've had the wheels off using it and the 12mm allen bit you have to buy
. If you are going to rebuild the engine sure you want a set of workaday tools in the garage, but only Ural owners have to carry theirs round.
I did a ride round the Baltic on the XT and used every single patch in a full puncture repair kit. I also had to drop the oil and do sundry other bits of bodging to keep it roadworthy after the usual tree and gravel related wear and tear. The Yamaha tool kit was very similar to the Suzuki one, nice and light, short spanners in the just the right sizes etc. Worked fine. Only tip as noted above is to try them at home, going round with sockets, extension bar and copper slip to find out where the boys in Japan got over excited with the air gun can make life easier.
