On-Going Projects
« on: July 16, 2013, 21:58:57 »
Hi Folks.

For some weeks I have been wittering on about a series of projects I wanted to complete on my wee. I have been working through these very slowly (I also have home projects to get through at the same time, and then in the middle of all this the car needed a service).

It's been a busy time.

I am about half way through the projects, some of which were service and maintenance related, others that were additions or enhancements. The list sitting on my desktop looks like this:

Maintenance Tasks

Replace Spark Plugs. - Done!
Replace Air Filter. - Done!
Perform a coolant change. - Done!
Perform a Brake Fluid change. - Done!
Perform various rust / Paint Job repairs. - Done!
Repair Water Pump / Radiator Corrosion damage. - Done!

Service/Clean Front Brakes.

Additions or Enhancements

Add an auxilliary Fuse Box.  - Done!
Add BikViz Bullets - fore and aft.
Add LED Indicator Strips.

*Potentially* Wire up the Motorcycle alarm I purchased months ago (Model: SPY 5000m).

Design a Tool Tube (cause I am going to loose space under the seat with the addition of the aux fuse box.

Write review of the Airman Compact Air Compressor.

At least the weather has been kind. If I get the chance I will write some of these up.

Des

Good work- I find these items most useful.
I like it when big arrows are added to the pics with note like 'undo this one' and 'not this one' (where there could be confusion) so they're (hopefully) idiot proof.

Good idea Des: just beware that too many idiot guides can lead to super idiots that are resistant.....

You think there are enough 'idiot guides' already Mr Nick?

It could save me hours of work if you think it would be overkill.

If you consider it work, just remember we're not paying  :neen: Point is, if it's a hassle and not something you like doing then no one is forcing you, all your decision, no one here expects anything from you :)

Nope: they're still outnumbered by the sheer mass of idiots out there....

I was actually considering doing someting in relation to bodywork repairs & paint as part of my TS project - already gone over some of the basics and feel like filling in the gaps as it were.. :groan:
