Might be worthwhile looking on ebay etc to see if there's any second-hand calipers about that are cheap. If there is, buy then, service them and then it's not quite as catastrophic if you damage the ones that are giving the problems.

STRUTH!!! Phoned my local dealer and they wanted £71.50 for just the seals, I finally came across these fellas http://www.powerhouseautomotive.co.uk/ who have sorted me out with a rebuild kit for both sides for £42.00 delivered.
