Sorry but....
« on: June 14, 2013, 18:47:14 »
I know this will be a disappointment for some.
Today I sold the "Vee" so it won't be taking me to Fat Rat's in August ( Is that cheers I hear?)
It goes like this.
The cunning dealer asked me to put some miles on their new Glee road test bike as it was still a "bit tight" and needed to loosen up.
124 miles later I was hooked and traded in the "Vee" for a new Glee. I can't actually take it until mid July when my planned garage is built so there is time to add some essential stuff.
It will be Black/Grey.
Meanwhile I got my M1500 Cruiser back and have been riding that. I had forgotten how well it goes.
I decided to keep it and not sell it. I blame Morsie a bit. But Hello a (old) boy needs wheels eh!

Oh! and the Glee will take me to Fat Rat's just fine.
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can.

I swapped a vee for a glee with a hornet in the middle. I miss the power, but the glee handles really nicely, however its woefully under sprung at the front, so I'll have to get on that asap.

Nice one, and hats off to the dealer for their clever marketing.

Report back when you've further 'loosened up' the Glee.

I've been toying with the idea of downsizing my Vee. It hardly gets used except for long trips, most of my 2-wheelering is local so I seem to use my scoots most these days...

They are cunning these dealers, so much so it looks like I've started a small Suzuki dealership in my garage.

At present I have an invisible garage although a very solid base, only waiting for the walls, doors, windows and roof. :angry-tappingfoot:

Yes, my dealer offered me their used demonstrator. I said, "It's done a thousand miles", and they said, "Yes but about 650 of them were you!".

Until you tell them that's how you know it isn't worth the high price now.
