Vee = DL1000 any year
Wee = DL650 from 2004 to 2011
Glee = DL650 from 2012

Glee is a merging of the Wee nickname and the Gladius which donated the newer engine.

It's just an ad hoc naming convention so we can at-a-glance differentiate between general types of V-Stroms being talked about on the forum.
