If I recall correctly I used a nut and bolt with a countersunk platic washer (which the top box sat on). Givi sent me some foc when I emailed them. There is a small chance I might be able to find one still kicking around somewhere. If you're travelling via the Channel Tunnel or Dover it migt be possible to meet up (if I can still find one).
