What LEDs you putting in? I'vetried a few, but not many last over a month or two on mine, probably vibration does the electronics in...

lol they can be quite frustrating. I had to remove one last week to take a feed for my satnav. The other end was even more difficult. I gave up 3 times but returned after a cup of tea and a 5 min break.

It does come out OK with a bit of fiddling, twisting and pulling, you still don't get much room to change the bulb though.

Next time I'll try it while wearing boxing gloves, can't be any harder

I undid the plastic panel under the front of the nose fairing and it gives you a touch better access(but not much)!!!!!

If you start getting angry...walk away and come back in 5mins..

Mine were cheap off ebay and have covered over 2000miles with no problems.

Mine kept failing until I put in some normal Bosch bulbs.

I don't understand why the LED lights are failing - vibration should be less of a problem with them than with a filament bulb.

Perhaps cheap one are only specced to just 12V, so the ~14V charging on a bike cooks them off in the first few months.

That was also my thoughts on it, I don't think they can handle the voltage variances? The other possibility is that the side lights simply get too hot from being near the main beam that is on all the time. But that sounds less likely to me?

I just pulled the connections on mine a while back - they do sweet f.a., and now I've got LED tailight, I can actually get away with accidentally putting the parking lights on overnight! The bike's always parked off the road anyway, I just need to remember to plug them back in for the MOT I guess...

Its very frustrating, but even the 'posh' bikevis ones have failed on me once, and the others are slowly turning blue (from white!) which was noticed on ST3. Someone has said its the electronic components involved which are failing due to vibes, not the actual light-emission diode itself if that makes sense?
My bikevis ones are mounted outside the lamp, away from significant heat, Juv...I don't seem to be having other issues with lighting or electricals at all (though I haven't tested voltage output).

Royzx and james.t  - can you recall what exact led's you got that keep working?
