hi all, just been on a euro tour and noticed a rattle when accelerating through the gears, when sitting in neutral it doesn't seem to do it. any ideas?

My typical answer to all noise questions is to wear earplugs. They save your hearing and help with worries about all the different noises these bikes are famous for making. Suzuki even went to scissors primary gears an a muffled clutch cover on the 2012 DL650 to keep the noise down.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. 2012 DL650A outlasted me.

I had the same problem. Turned out it was the nearside pillion footrest rattling like mad. Worth while checking yours.
