You will not need extra fuel in Norway, honestly the stations are just as frequent as in the UK. I have done a fair few miles around places and have never needed extra fuel on the strom... only in Alaska riding the Dalton where it was 260 miles between gas stations, then I only needed extra fuel for about 5 miles! And again down in the very south of Argentina but that was due to head wind (140 miles and ran out of gas!)... other than those two occasions I have never needed extra fuel.

But if you do like carrying a gallon of fuel with you then the easiest was is just strap a gallon container to your bike, there is always room somewhere.

Tie it properly though, if it swings about and rests on the exhaust it will melt, pissing fuel all over the hot pipe.  This also goes for gallos of orange juice which you may have tied there. Infact it is a grat way to get rid off all the kit you thought you needed but could actually do without.

I store my fuel in roadside petrol stations
It's not my fault, it's your fault. I told you I was stupid but you didn't listen!
