I'm dreading when mine comes up in march

its £650 at the moment and that's TPF+T

Jehesus, I thought mine was costly at £296 tpft!

Renewing early december, looking at quotes of £260 fully comp including all the gubbins I have adhered, screwed, bolted and clamped to the bike - quite pleased really, not much less, but a more thorough policy!!

The few years of...lets say "experience" make all the difference in price :P

your not that old though....  :old:

You passed your test at 15?

And yeah, more life experience = more years at graft - still, a few years closer to retiement  :thumb:

I'm with ebike they have just asked for £178,they was always cheap for my bandit but carole nash have got it down to 125 with full euro cover which I have been told is top notch.
I have found that shopping around does work to an extent and the £53 I saved does show that.

Good company, I have used them for years as they cover all of my bikes and a car on the same policy for not a lot of money really.  650 cost me an addtional £50 I think for 10 months cover.

Never had to claim, but think all companies are about the same on this front, but I have used the recovery service and it works well.

I live in West Wickham near Bromley Kent and am with Bennetts, they quoted me £126 fully comp, Euro cover, protected bonus etc but said it came up as a group 14!! I'm 51 bike is garaged but I thought that was a bit steep as my FZ6 only cost me £92. I appreciate the VStrom is new, but I bought the FZ new last year. (Sold it to get the VStrom) Seemed like a big price hike to me, not to mention jump in group. How did they work that one out   MCN listed the Suzuki as a group 10. Maybe I misheard the lady from Bennetts I am an old bloke now so that's my excuse

Mmmm I pay £882 fully comp for the year with MCE.

 - that's on a brand new Strom ( June '11)
 - No motorcycle no claims, passed test in May '11
 - 6 Points on my licence
 - And "garaged at my mums house..."

When I looked into changing the policy into keeping the bike here at work in on an ARMED military base, it took the insurance to over £1,500 as it was deemed to be under a Motar/terrorist threat..  :angry-tappingfoot:

Hopefully June brings a significant drop in price...Here's hoping anyway

I tried Suzuki insurance.  They won't cover it ungaraged...you say yours is in the driveway....?

A disgrace to biking...
