I've discovered some bubbling/corrosion on the top side of the clutch cover on my 2022 1050XT. The bikes only got 10,800 miles on it (8,800 done by me in the last 11 months) and is still under manufacturer warranty.
I'm a bit annoyed due to how good the rest of the bike looks and the fact that it's been LATHERED in XCP Rust Blocker. It's also odd that it's at the top side of the case so certainly not in direct line of fire from dirt nor a place where salt and dirt can accumulate.
Anyone had any success with warranty claims on this? I'm sure I've seen something about it before.
It's not the end of the world but it just irks me.

Not from Suzuki but I did get Yamaha to replace some forks under warranty as the paint all bubbled.
Suzuki will want you to visit a dealership, they'll take photos of your bike to show the overall condition and the problem area. Suzuki will then decide whether that's something they'll cover or not based on the overall condition. Of the bike.

This bloke on Strom Trooper had a good claim that was covered :shrug:

I best get on cleaning it again then ha. I was curious about what to say I've cleaned it with as I know that's somewhat of a get out of jail free card for them.....

I don't think they'd ask, but if they try to blame what you're using then it would cause issues with the rest of the bike.
