Just been out to clean and check my Glee, after a lovely dry ride yesterday, and noticed the black rubber cover on the rear brake bleed nipple has gone AWOL.
Do I have to get a Suzuki replacement or are they all the same regardless of manufacturer? I ask as Suzuki dealer 30 miles away but have a Triumph dealer only in the next town.
I need to ride Sunday, if I can’t get one before then, would just putting some tape over the nipple temporarily be OK?
Sorry if this is a silly question but never lost one on any of my bikes before.

Do it no harm at all. Look on ebay or the like and save yourself a trip to the dealers. I find once there you always see something else you like!

I suspect pretty much any motorbike (car ones may be a bit too big) bleed nipple will do. When I lose them on cars or bikes I just get a little bit of grease on my finger tip and wipe the top of the nipple. That just seals it off temporarily. I'm sure tape will be fine as well.

Thank you. I was about to do that as looked up the Suzuki part on a main dealers website and they are charging £6.42 for one little piece of rubber. 😳

Just bought some for our Vee, £2.99 for a pack of 8 via eBay!

I think I’ve just found the same ones Whiterose. Arriving Monday, so tape it is for Sunday.
Thank you everyone for your advice.
