Title: Got tickets for BSB round - Any experience of Oulton Park?

Hello All I got a voucher for weekend tickets for a BSB round. I intend to go to Oulton Park on the 1st 3rd May. I just wanted some feedback on the facilities at the venue from anyone who has been there. I intend bring my bike and camping for the weekend.

Haven't been for a few years, although it's only 12 miles away. Can't comment on camping facilities but circuit is nicely compact, easy to get around to various vantage points. I always liked to be on the inner circuit at cascades very soon after start  a good view of a sweeping left and away down a straight then across the track you can see over to hill top and  fast into knickerbrook.
Plenty of village pubs local and a very scenic area. Sure you'll love it..

Hi I last went 2years ago. You'll find the camping area quite steep in places, get there early (thus) to get the flatter areas .plenty of showers/toilets, but obviously very busy at peak times. The track is fantastic and, use Friday/Saturday to sample various viewing points for race day. There's live music on Friday and Saturday nights, food was reasonable in the restaurant and the bar was OK. In the evening you could walk the track, and see some off the riders and pit crews doing the same. All in all a good place to see BSB
