Title: Handle bars advice
Post by: jbaptista on September 04, 2018, 12:43:34
Hi,
when touring after a while I start to feel my hands numb, and my shoulder blade sore.
I guess it's my driving position. I was thinking rise the handle bar and curved for me, and a wider handle bar.
Any advice and recommendation?
Best Regards.

I used barback risers up one inch and back one inch much better riding position

Yes up, or up & back will help. I also found that Grip Puppies helped me, although some riders think they make the grips too wide.
Make sure you're relaxed & not gripping too tight.

I got some 20mm risers off e bay and moved the bars bar slightly seems to have cured my aches

Was trying to find something like this:
https://www.bikermart.co.uk/BMW-R1200GS-SW~Motech-Barback-Handlebar-Risers

I think this would do the job, but still haven't found for DL650.
Anyone recommend a brand?
I almost sure I saw on R&G, but there is nothing on their website.
