Title: F1 problem
Post by: anmahi123 on August 14, 2016, 22:22:49
Hi blokes can any one help.
My V strom has a bit of an intermittent problem.
F1 fault has appeared on the dashboard. I have gone into dealer mode and fault code has come up C 64 which I have found out is an ignition fault. But this all I can find out.
Can anyone please help with info as to what I need to do / replace to cure the fault ?
Thanks

A C64 is an HO2 Sensor #1 Heater Circuit Malfunction

Check the oxygen sensor in the exhaust pipe and its associated wiring. Did you replace the exhaust by any chance?

Hi.
Thanks for getting in touch.
No the exhaust has not been changed.
But have noted that just before F1 appears on screen both speedo needle and rev counter needle go completly over to right and back again as in the initial start up .
