Started up the bike this morning and the clock reset itself from the correct time to 1:00 AM. This is the second time this has happened in 2 weeks. Anyone experienced this before?
Bike is a K5 Wee btw.
Cheers,
Kris

Sounds like the voltage at start up is dropping low enough to re-set the clock. Suggest you check the battery condition and all the battery and ground connections.

Yep. Had the same issue. It usually resets when you turn the key. If so, it's a sign of the battery being in its way out.
If it's not doing it when starting, it's more likely to be a connection issue, so give your battery contacts a clean and tighten them up.

Thanks fellas.
Update: The whole display went blank for a couple of seconds yesterday when cranking the engine. It also happened again while riding.I had a look at the battery connections and it seems to be tight. I will give it a clean over the weekend and keep an eye out again.
Can this be caused by a loose contact anywhere? If so, where can I locate it?
I am absolutely useless with electrical work.
How do I find out whether it is a duff battery or if its a ground issue?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Kris

Most likely a dying battery.
Same symptoms everytime my battery had come to the end of it's life.
Have a look on mds batterieswebsite.
Got a yuasa battery for £34.50 delivered a couple of years back.

Yep. I'll go with mr driver. It's the battery.
Sometimes they are a little confusing too. If u put a multimeter on it, it often shows 12v + but if u try and start the engine whilst it's on u'll see the voltage drop right down to ingle figures.
Treat yourself to a new one.
