Hi,
I made the mistake of fitting Wunderlich DRLs to my K1600 GTL. I say mistake because they seem to eat bulbs.
I have replaced both sides at least twice in a very short time. So much so that I keep them off most of the time. I have them mounted onto engine bars and have used some tape under the clamps to help reduce vibration.
I am assuming that vibration is the culprit. I know the 6 cylinder engine is very smooth but would the vibration levels be just at the wrong frequency to piss off the bulb filaments.
Never had this with my Tiger 800 or Explorer.
Anyone had this and/or got a fix? If not, anyone got a pair of LED lights going? I only need the lamp units as the Wunderlicht wiring harness is in place.
