I've got about 5k on my 2015 650 v strom and I've noticed the clutch is really rattling its head off but stops as soon as I pull in the clutch lever , the bike is under warranty do you think I should take it in ?
-
Yes
-
Are you sure it's the clutch and not just gear chatter?
-
I don't know what it is , I just know it stops as soon as I pull the clutch in, it runs fine no problems with the clutch or gears just this rattle . I had a v strom a couple of years ago but that didn't have this noise, so next time its in for a service I'll let them have a listen to it...probably to be told. .they all do that . ????

I had 2012 DL650 for two years, did 12000 km on it and it has never done that noise.
-
Yes, take it back. Mine's a 2015 650 and no odd sounds at all. I should know, I had a very rattly clutch Yamaha XJ600N...... but it had done over 50k miles.
-
Yes take it in you need to have that checked
-
Sounds like the Clutch Basket could be falling apart.
-
I have the same problem with my 2015 with 3800 mile I'm Going to get it looked at next service which will be soon. What are the views on servicing 3500 or 7500 mile?
-
If its a 2015 bike (7500 miles) you should ring Suzuki UK and get them to send you the updated service interval sheet of paper to stick over the one in the service book. I had to do this when I first got mine, they don't seem to do it unless you ask.
-
Just service any year of a current bike at 7,500 miles/12 months unless there's something wrong with it, in which case you should take it in to be looked at.
-
Ernest...I think it was a good move by Suzuki to change the service intervals to 7,500mls ...but I change the oil & filter on every bike I have every 3,000mls anyway .
