I'm really just adding this for reference.
A Front Indicator wasn't working on my K9 DL650, the problem was in the connector which lives under the left side (as you sit on the bike) Fairing shown below.

Look at the bottom row, second pin in from the left, it does look discoloured
There wasn't lots of fur or corrosion, even using a Jewelers eye piece it was hard to see. Ten minutes with a pin file and a splurge of ACF-50 and let there be light :fix:
That motivated me to get at the connectors behind the Radiator. If you are considering this (essential) preventative maintenance then don't struggle, it takes less than 15 minutes to drop the Rad out of the way. The only downside is you are now likely to change your Plugs because the one behind the Rad is usually a bugger to get to.

The light green wire is the live wire for the right turn signal.

Those block connectors behind the radiator are a pain in the backside . I recently had a front brake light switch issue, guess the culprit.. ?
Apart from removing the block connectors completely and wiring them direct has anyone come up with a solution ?

Take them apart as early on in the bike's life as you can and pour ACF50 in them. Then cover them in old bicycle inner tube to keep the water out
