Title: Throttle valve sync
Post by: Valves on May 12, 2016, 23:04:19
Can this be done without the SDS tool being needed? Seems a bit much that balancing, which is needed quite regularly on a twin, needs this tool  :dl_hyperhysteria:

Veeks and Glees don't need balancing like the older bikes did. The TBS on the newer bikes only does the idle air screws. If the bike idles okay, I'd leave it alone.

Decided to buy a cheap OBD kit from ebay and I have to say quite impressed. It is a 'copy' of the HealTech kit but at considerably lower price - a long as I don't update the software. It works fine and reads all the info from the ECM as I would expect. Even allowed me to clear an old DTC code.
