Step one is to work out where the three main components are going to live on the bike, the choices I made for the V-Strom DL650 are shown below;
The Wick approx 25mm above the chain
Pipe routed and secured to the Swing arm
I secured the Reservoir like this
The Reservoir Cable tied in place and filled with oil
Pump secured to the frame using supplied pad and ties

Once the parts are where you want them you need to prime the system by filling the pipes with oil, this can be done using the supplied Syringe. The PDOiler Mini is extremely easy to install, it looks neat, you do not have to mess with vacuum hoses and the Wick system should minimise any oil fling to the rear wheel and the back of the bike. I will update this page shortly, I have a 700 mile trip planned this week so It will be interesting to see how the PDOiler looks after my chain, I have to say that I am optimistic.
