I'd have had a red bike if they were out in 2012... still white is a very good choice  :thumb:

Hi  Asmith61 thanks for that, I'm always interested in things like this, we have a few of them here in Lincolnshire ( Bomber county ) RAF Coningsby's is only 23 miles away and we get free air shows most days, with Typhoons flying around, and in the summer we get the BBMF, and even the Red Arrows from Scampton flying over head now and again. The Tornado's are always the one's that are the lowest, I love it.

Hi lincsman that's cool it must be great to see the typhoons on an almost daily basis, RAF bradwell bay is only 15 miles from me, and you get a lot of people coming down to see the memorial and the remaining bits of runway etc. and I work almost opposite stow Marie's WW1 Great War aerodrome and we see a lot of the by planes flying in when they have an event, if you google the WW1 airfield there are quite a few pictures etc that you might ne of interest to you

 Alby,
I've just done as you suggested, regarding the pictures, and also, I have bookmarked the website.
My mate is really into the history of WW2, but of late is taking a greater interest about WW1
I think that a visit down south if we get time, could well be on the cards.
Thanks for posting this.  :thumb:

Alby,
I e mailed my mate and this was his response to us visiting there sometime this year. I asked him if he knew of this museum and that it might be worth a look

NO, that looks worth a visit put on our list. Blimey it looking like a busy year brilliant.

Thanks again.
